Terms of Service
Last updated October 16, 2026
These terms cover your use of Qwick Tools, including the website at getqwick.com, the dashboard, QR short links, and the address autocomplete widget. We've tried to keep them short and readable.
The Agreement
By using Qwick Tools you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use Qwick Tools for a business, you agree on its behalf and confirm you're allowed to. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
Accounts
- Accounts are set up by invitation. Keep your password private. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
- Tell us right away if you think someone else has access to your account.
- Group members share the group's QR codes and scan counts. Only add people you trust.
Acceptable Use
Please don't use Qwick Tools to:
- Break the law or infringe anyone's rights.
- Send people to phishing, malware, scams, or other harmful or deceptive content.
- Spam, harass, or mislead people.
- Probe, overload, or get around the service's security, rate limits, or access controls.
- Copy, scrape, or bulk-download address data, or use it to build or improve a competing dataset or service.
- Resell or share access to the service, or your account, without our written permission.
QR Codes
You choose where your QR codes lead, and you're responsible for those destinations. We may pause a short link that points somewhere harmful or that is being reported for abuse. Printed codes keep working for as long as the code exists in an active account. Deleting a code, or closing the account it belongs to, stops it from working, and that can't be undone.
Address Autocomplete
- Suggestions come from public open data sources gathered by OpenAddresses. They may be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. Check addresses that matter, such as shipping or legal addresses, with the person who gave them to you.
- Those sources have their own licenses, and many require credit. The widget's footer links to our Data Sources page, through the Qwick Tools name or, with branding off, an "Address data" link. Don't hide or remove it.
- Use suggestions only to help people fill in their own address forms. Don't store suggestions in bulk or redistribute them as a dataset.
- Only add websites you run to your allowed websites, and tell your visitors about the tool in your own privacy notice.
Your Content
You own what you put into Qwick Tools, such as QR titles, destinations, and images. You give us permission to store, process, and display that content only as needed to run the service for you. You confirm you have the right to use anything you upload.
Qwick Tools itself, including its software, design, and the Qwick name and duck, belongs to us. Address data belongs to its original publishers and is used under their licenses.
The Service
We're always improving Qwick Tools, so features may be added, changed, or removed. We'll give reasonable notice before removing something you rely on when we can. We work to keep the service fast and available, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted.
Disclaimers and Liability
Qwick Tools is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we don't make warranties of any kind, including that the service will be error-free or that address data is accurate or complete.
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.
Suspension and Ending
You can stop using Qwick Tools at any time and ask us to close your account. We may suspend or close an account or remove a website from the allowed list if these terms are broken or the service is being misused. When the problem isn't urgent, we'll try to warn you first.
Changes and History
If we change these terms, we'll update this page and the date at the top. For significant changes, we'll tell account holders before they take effect. Questions? Contact the person who set up your account.
